People in the Bay Area have reason to celebrate as Home Depot has just announced that it will be creating more than 2,000 jobs in its 10 stores which are to be located in the Bay Area.
On Tuesday, top officials from the giant retail chain said that they are planning on hiring 2,000 part-time and seasonal employees who will be working at the chain’s new 10 stores. In addition to that they officials stated that they will be holding a job fair come 29th May so as to interview applicants who come from the Bay Area.
Home Depot described the planned hiring effort that is planning on conducting as part of a nationwide campaign which is looking at creating more than 80,000 jobs nationwide this spring so as “to assist with busy spring selling season.”
Applicants, who will take part in planned job fair which is scheduled for 29th May, will be interviewed by Home Depot outpost representatives in Colma, San Carlos, Hayward, Fremont, San Jose, Newark, Santa Clara, Mateo and Sunnyvale. The event will be held at the San Carlos Home Depot store which is at 1125 Old County Road and it will begin at 11:00am in the morning and it will end on Wednesday 7:00pm.
